TEDxBGU: Daphna Slonim, MD on Subconscious Sabotage

We’ve all been there…. Wanting something so desperately, working tirelessly towards it and then being mystified when it doesn’t happen. It could be the ideal relationship, the target weight, the perfect job offer or anything you had set your heart on and couldn’t seem to grasp – despite your best efforts.

It’s frustrating for sure – especially when you don’t know what’s stopping you.

Many years ago, I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Slonim to help me overcome my subconscious sabotage. Yes, I was a working actress, but I knew that I wanted more. She helped me release those sneaky limited beliefs just under my level of awareness that were holding me back, so I could find my ideal career. It’s no coincidence that my consulting business blossomed after we worked together. I suddenly was moving downstream in life, instead of feeling stuck.

Many years later, I’m delighted that she got to share her expertise on the TEDx stage in Ben Gurion University in Israel. I was delighted to help her prepare for her TED talk as well! She did an amazing job… Enjoy the video and to learn more about her work and to get unstuck yourself, head over to TheFirstKey.com. You’ll be happy you did!

Awkward on Camera? How to Overcome Your Habits

The Benefits of Healthy Boundaries

Years ago, I worked with a freelancer who set the most perfect ground rules at the beginning of our relationship: Don’t call - instead, email me, I prefer email. If you email after this time, I won’t respond until that time. And we won’t discuss work on the weekends -...
