Once upon a time we lived in a world where people would walk down the street and admire the trees, check out the passing cars and say hello to the occasional stranger walking by. We noticed things as we strolled along.

Then came the cell phone and everything changed.

Suddenly, we were overcome with the idea that we needed to be reached and to reach others every second of every day. We compulsively checked our email, the news, and our “friends” online. It all seemed innocent enough, right?

Let’s face it, our habits have changed.

When was the last time you left the house without your phone (and didn’t panic)?
How many people on any street corner have their heads buried in their phone?
Did you grab your phone within the first minute of waking up?

If Elon Musk has his way, computers will be embedded into our brains. This is not science-fiction, friends. This could be our future.

Mark Zuckerberg thinks that augmented reality will be the norm, so we feel less lonely as human beings. Seriously? Get ready for goggles, fellow earthling.

In today’s video, I’m sharing the necessity for you to get your face out of your phone and start tuning into the gift of being a living person on this planet.

You are incredible. Just as you are. No cell phone required. To life!
