How to Practice Making Eye Contact with Strangers

Last week I had the pleasure of attending The Milken Global Conference. Thought leaders, government officials, inventors, industry executives and even Will.i.am were in attendance. It was an incredible experience and also the perfect opportunity to connect with amazing people. And might I remind you, every new hello began with one simple gesture…connecting with someone’s eyes.

I know – making eye contact can be difficult at times, especially if you’re an introvert, but I promise you, it doesn’t have to be a scary thing. You can start small, in casual no-big-deal situations. In today’s video, I show you how.

You see, when you can practice with strangers, in everyday encounters, you exercise your ability to connect. Try it and see for yourself!

PS: Take action today! Commit to looking at ONE strangers eyes before the sun goes down. Are you game? Let me know in the comments below. Once you put it in writing you are 10X more likely to do it! ACTION = TRANSFORMATION. Go for it!
